Spent the day doing the most gratifying job ever...being parents to our wonderful kids and didn't have a chance to take a pic for today's #Invertedin challenge. I’ve teamed up with @aloyoga, @fit_influxr, and @peoplewater to bring you #InvertedIn, an inversion pose-of-the-day challenge aimed to work on body control and strength. As part of this challenge, we’ll be working with @PeopleWater to give water back to people who need it. We’re excited to announce that for each entry we receive for #invertedin, we will give 1 liter of water. If we get 250 entries, we will give 250 liters of water, 500 entries = 500 liters of water, and so on. Our goal is to hit 3,000 entries. If we hit 3,000 entries or more by 1/18, we will give 3,000 liters of water. One well repaired by @peoplewater gives 1,000 liters of clean water a day, so we’re hoping we can repair up to 3 of them! At the closing of every class/workshop/training we teach, we sit quietly together, reflecting on how grateful we are for the yoga practice. 2014 was filled with these still moments (no less than 50)! I always take a peak at everyone's face as they meditate and I try to take a mental snap shot of the serenity showing on their faces. It reminds me of how grateful I am for this opportunity to share my love for Yoga. We departed LAX for our last trip of the year, sick as dogs. Our amazing host, @dennicens has gone above and beyond to make our time here amazing. On our day off she took us on her 'yacht' to this beautiful island. Wow...what an incredible early Xmas gift and the perfect way to close 2014.
