@bryceyoga : Day 6 of #FitFlowChallenge is High Knees. This is one of my favorites because it gets your heart rate up quickly. In the yoga practice we don’t get any explosive movement, so high knees gives us yogis something we really need. But, when I first started incorporating them in my practice, my knees would hurt. I realized that I wasn't using my leg muscles the way I should be. So, through the yoga practice and other movement modalities, as we as tips from my bestie @mackenzieyoga, I've been able to strengthen my legs enough so that this actually feels exhilarating. Tough, exhausting, but good. This is a great exercise to sculpt your calves, strengthen your ankles and boost your cardiovascular endurance. I suggest doing this exercise for 30 seconds on and 10 seconds of rest.
