My mom's two new helper. Anne and Bee are two 18-year-old girls from the hill tribe who came in after our house was without a helper for almost a month. I feel extremely blessed I've finally found someone who can help me look after the house and my mom and Latte, the dog. Today mom felt she was useful, she taught Bee to read the Thai alphabet today. That smile on mom's face was priceless. ️; -

Once a year my foodie friends come together to taste and enjoy local dishes. Our first stop out of the five eateries we went to was this place... 'Kow Gang' that's been selling here for generations. Notice there's no table, that's because they didn't pay rent so they're selling illegally. Selling from a push cart, plastic chairs are easier to transport than tables. Today I went into kitchen I threw together stir-fried black pepper cod in onion, broccoli and carrot, for soup was a tum-yum mushrooms and chicken. this is my first attempt, but after observing cooks around me, i got the courage to do it. Mom said, 'ahroy!' Yeah, she likes it. #happymomhappyday; -
Simple food, simple pleasure. Roasted Bell Pepper soup, freshly made pita bread that can be dipped into hummus and sun dried tomatoes. It's clean. It's lean and pack full of proteins. I'm challenging myself to stay off sugar and process junk and enjoying real food. Already lost a lot of fat staying off sugar.; -
