PARDON OUR MASSIVE BLURB. It’s long, but it will be worth the read! For many of us, Instagram is a daily (sometimes hourly) ritual. Dice and I have been constantly inspired by the various personalities and pictures we see at our fingertips. For some time now there has been something special brewing within Instagram and the yoga practice. Something deep, something meaningful, and undeniably inspirational and it’s empowered us everyday!
Being the generation that popularized social media, it’s easy to be consumed negatively or be intimidated by the thousands of images we see and the ability to write and receive comments so freely. Thus, we proudly introduce IG GETAWAY, or Inspiration Generation Getaway, created by us and our dear friend, @alikathrine Getaway is a five-day yoga celebration on AUGUST 22-26th in SANTA MONICA, CA. This event highlights the positivity of social media and the ability to connect to those that enrich and inspire us.
We are so lucky to be partnering with @INFLUXR who believe in cultivating a passionate, like-minded community of fitness enthusiasts and everyday philanthropists, and have done so through social fitness challenges. This collaboration is no different.
Although we travel and teach all over the world, we call Los Angeles home. We have witnessed LA, especially Santa Monica to be a growing mecca of yoga and have decided it is the perfect location to bring this idea to real life. We’ve teamed up with some of the most inspirational Instagram yogis: @LauraSykora, @YogaBeyond, @FitQueenIrene, @dylanwerneryoga @mackenzieyoga @TheYogiMatt, @Cuchira, and @bryceyoga In the months leading up to the IG Getaway event, we will be hosting #InspirationGenerationChallenge (s) on Instagram that celebrate everything we love about this social yoga community. Through these challenges we will donate to our favorite charities, give away prizes, and even pay for a few of you to come to LA for the event! Let’s bring this community to even greater heights, and ignite even bigger change. Participate in our monthly charity challenges, and let’s show the world just how inspirational this generation can be.

Practicing #AcroYoga with my daughter, Taylor has been such a gift in our relationship. When we fly, not only do we have a blast but we are bonding, building confidence and trust, and strengthening our communication skills!
