Being away from my loved ones has always been so tough. Especially when I'm away from my daughter. We have been doing this shared custody thing for almost 8 years and it hasn't gotten any easier...but, when I'm able to stay positive, I realize that we are lucky. This space has allowed me to be a better mother and really value my time with her. That said, I still miss my little girl so much right now...21 more days. Love you Tay!; -

#ekapadabakasana has always been the most challenging #armbalance in my #practice. It took a daily practice of this pose to get my back leg this high. After my last pregnancy my hip flexors were left so weak that I feel like gumby when I try this pose now. When I get bummed out about what I 'use to look like' or what I 'could do then and can't now'....I try to remind myself that it's the journey that matters, not the destination.; -
