Because when we are present we can actually see, feel, and appreciate the beauty rather than dwelling in the darkness of our minds. Bri and I have been lucky enough to call many different yogis our teachers. One of our all-time favorites will always be @raghunathyogi. If you haven't had the chance to get to one of his workshops/retreats/classes, you're severely missing out. He's a yogi, father, husband, teacher and good friend. His classes have airtime, but he knows how to bring home the spirituality and the Bhakti. He happens to be quite the musician as well. Check out his Kirtan on iTunes!!! When I first started practicing Yoga, it was mainly about me. My well being, my self care, a solo practice. But Yoga is so much more to me now. It is far beyond a physical practice, it is a way of life that reminds me to stay present, be kind, be compassionate, and to always share the love that the practice builds in my heart with my loved ones.
