Ginny's stitch free! We just got back from the vets; now Ginny's stitch free, all patched up and celebrating with a well deserved bacontini! She was so happy in the car ride to the vets, then she realised where we were going and she suddenly clung onto me and had to be pulled off, but as soon as the stitches came out she was more than happy to eat every treat her vet gave her. Ginny can roll in as many muddy puddles as she wants again! Thank you everyone for keeping Ginny in your thoughts and sending love and support during these past 10 days, your comments and emails helped more than you'll ever know. Thank you all so, so much Now, beware treat thieves, SuperGinny's back ; -

(Repost from @mrolliepants) Meet Emmett, a Shepard mix. He was found after being hit by a car and threatened to be shot. He is now in great hands and scheduled to have surgery tomorrow to try and repair the very large fracture in his leg. Next Monday Ginny's stitches come out, then she'll be able to meet up with her bff and roll in all the muddy puddles she wants again. (Note: Ginny looks grumpy here because her bff stole her stick.); -

We were tagged by our amazing friends @einstein_shihtzu and @philpush to do the Ice Bucket Challenge. Because of Ginny's stitches on her head (and because she would ignore me for the rest of the year if I poured cold water over her) she just drank a bowl of ice water after her walk instead... and then she had a bacontini because why not have a bacontini whenever you want?
