Sunday morning meditation before class. Today we had 11 students, one small family with a 13-year-old daughter who brought her parents with her to class. Mom and Dad have never exercise before and I tried to give them a gentle class, but still try to be challenging for the advance students. A mix class with different level called for more compassion for the new students. Our happy dozen. First time we fitted 12 people in my house for an evening yoga class. The mosquitoes have been attacking so we all stayed inside, like sardines line in a can, we had a great time sweating and getting physically close in a small space. Using the Booty to open the Back. This is a real deep opener that started off with a handstand. I then adjust my butt to be a little above the receiver's lower back by spreading my legs wide. Thunderstorm in Bangkok. ️ Since 6am it's been pouring until my neighborhood street feels like the canal of Venice. In the front of the village water level is up to half my car wheel, since I have an electric car it probably isn't wise to go out and get food for mom. Mom is scared of thunder and lightening and is deathly afraid of flood... I told her this is nothing compared to Michigan winter, if she can live through Michigan windchill freezing winter for 40 years... A little rain is harmless. The weather forecast for the next week is thunderstorm every day, mom isn't taking this well.
