Our goal was to raise the bar and help redefine the disaster genre. With iconic movies like "Towering Inferno" and "Titanic" as our benchmarks - we needed a director who was not only extremely talented and hungry to achieve greatness but one who would relentlessly push to make sure the audience left the theater caring about our characters.
