Real deal. Our 2016 shooting schedule is a grueling 12months straight of filming (Ballers, Baywatch, Fast & Furious 8 and the big one, Rampage) it requires me putting together a team of professionals from all areas of business who bring their own expertise to the table. In the case of training for these roles - I appreciate my strength and conditioning coach @hanyrambod's sharp attention to detail and structuring the balance of hard core training with smart diet and conditioning. My daily 4am wake ups are a hard core bitch, but any success worth working extremely hard for will always be worth having in the end. It's a cool thing to voice a character in an animated movie. It's a whole other level of cool to be the male lead in a DISNEY ANIMATED MUSICAL where you have to sing multiple songs as well as bring the character to life. From BEAUTY AND THE BEAST to LION KING to FROZEN the pressure is on.. . I was up for the challenge to step out of my comfort zone and do my best to uphold the rep of the iconic Disney musicals. No greater partner to guide and direct me than the man himself, John Lasseter. The culture and process of Disney Animation and Pixar is so damn cool and I'm grateful to be a part of it.
