Life's crazy enough so I like to keep things simple (pick up truck, tequila, good luvin';). Receiving these gifts made it the BEST Christmas ever...ITunes gift card (immediately adding Jamey Johnson and Migos to my playlist thank you very much), my favorite gum (nothing says love like the gift of fresh breath), my fav cookie delivery service (Deluscious) because the good Lord knows I love to "dominate the cookie".. wait.. I meant.. never mind. Mounted Brahma Bull horns because I'm a proud Taurus, hard headed and you don't like it you can meet out back and we'll settle it like men. Or we can have a round of Jack. Either way I win. Bass Pro Shops gift card because one of these fine days I'm gonna pull a 15lb+ largemouth hog out of Lake Okeechobee, take an Instagram vid for proof, kiss that big mama right on the lips and let her go... right into my live well to eat later. Kidding I'm a true sportsman. And finally the DJ gift that wins my Christmas: A big clock (from my awesome daughter, Simone) who creatively removed the minute hand and added the word "ish" after every number - because in our universe of me being the "the world's hardest working man and most dopest dad ever.." whenever she asks what time do we have to be somewhere, I always respond with "ish" at the end of my answer. Want to thank my family for these amazing gifts. While they may seem like simple silly things to the rest of the world, to me.. it's the "simple and silly" that makes them awesome. Excuse me.. Christmas came early! Within minutes of being born she was laying on daddy's chest. And being a grateful man takes on a whole new meaning... Thank you guys so much for the awesome congratulatory wishes and love you've been sending @laurenhashianofficial and myself. We're extremely grateful. Kinda crazy but in this cool and powerful skin to skin bonding moment with my newborn baby Jasmine, I had just one wish I asked the universe... Give me the strength to be a better man today than I was yesterday. If I can accomplish that, then I'd have a good shot at being a great father. To all you young men out there who will be fathers one day, the goal of "being better" will never steer you wrong. Trust me. Something else that'll never steer you wrong is "walking thru the fire" with your baby's mama. I was right there during labor, helping her breathe, every highly intense contraction, every second of pain, right there watching the actual birth, cutting the cord and wiping the tears. Incredible. *(Now don't get me wrong boys, it wasn't like I was at the end of the table, squatting like a catcher waiting for the fastball to come down the pike.. but as men, it's a miracle we should witness because it'll give you a whole new respect for the strength and beauty of a woman). Again, THANK YOU guys so much for all the love during this blessed time. I always say I'm a lucky dude because I've got the greatest fans in the world - and it's true.
