Started training hard at 14yrs old. Not for fame or a competition, but because we were evicted from our small apartment in Hawaii. I reeeaaaaly hated that feeling of helplessness and never wanted that to happen again. So, I did the only thing I could control with my own two hands in hopes that one day my family would never worry about being evicted again - I trained. Truly an honor to be named for the first time ever #ManOfTheCentury. Can't wait for you guys to read this very special edition of #MuscleAndFitness. One day I'll get the therapy I CLEARLY need... Whoa. This just in from SPAIN. Always so surreal when people get my portrait or my #WarriorMana tattoo inked on their bodies. I've seen this hundreds and hundreds of times from men and women all around the world. It's a crazy concept, BUT... when they share with me the REASON they had it done, "You helped pull me they depression when I was contemplating suicide", "Inspired me to become a better man and father", etc.. it all makes sense and makes me extremely grateful these individuals have changed for the better.
