Sunday morning meditation before class. Today we had 11 students, one small family with a 13-year-old daughter who brought her parents with her to class. Mom and Dad have never exercise before and I tried to give them a gentle class, but still try to be challenging for the advance students. A mix class with different level called for more compassion for the new students. What I discover is to just go slower, it becomes more challenging for even the advance students...and on a lazy Sunday with the warm sun overhead, with our deep long exhale, we are learning to slow our thoughts, with our breathe and movement...with each breathe we become more present. #sammakornvillage #yogabypop #meditation #morningmeditation #slowdown #bepresent; -
My 2-year-old Pom, Lattè was under the table while my mom was watching TV, my brother on the computer and me reading my newsfeed...Lattè felt he was being ignored and want to to be held up to the table to see what everyone was doing. Our happy dozen. First time we fitted 12 people in my house for an evening yoga class. The mosquitoes have been attacking so we all stayed inside, like sardines line in a can, we had a great time sweating and getting physically close in a small space. It's tennis time I haven't played for many months because of commercials that asked me to be 'white', (it's an Asian thing 😛) trying to find my groove again. Morning swim at this huge pool that has a waterslid and waterfall overlooking 2,500 rai of green golf hills and surrounded by mountains. The weather is overcast and cool, perfect for golf, but I don't know how to play, that's why I decided to get wet instead. I ️ rocket salad with almond slice, cherry tomatoes, balsamic cream and lots of olive oil...this was my late supper, which I don't eat late very often...but i don't feel so bad eating this compared to my chocolate dessert craving I've been getting. Using the Booty to open the Back. This is a real deep opener that started off with a handstand. I then adjust my butt to be a little above the receiver's lower back by spreading my legs wide. Straightening my leg gives the receiver a deeper back opening. Twerking also feels amazing on the lower back. End the session by fully bending over and place the receiver's leg on the floor.
