How many times have you spent your Savasana thinking only to finally relax right before the teacher brings you out? The best advice we have for a successful Savasana is to remember that the brain's job is to think. So, instead of trying to quiet the mind, feed the mind soothing thoughts like focusing on the breath without controlling it. Thank you for joining us this week! Day 3 Pose: Press Handstand You should be able to hold a handstand for at least 5-10 seconds already Open your hamstrings by prepping with a few standing forward folds and prep your core with some corework. Be sure to also warmup your wrists! Understand a hollow body shape by drawing navel in and up, ribs softly drawing together and towards the navel, with arms overhead With hands on the floor, keep arms straight, externally rotated and push the ground away Walk feet as close to hands as possible and voila! If flexibility is a problem, or if u wanna make it easier, have your feet higher on blocks or a ledge. Straddle (wide) is easier than legs together Day 3 Random Act of Love: RECEIVE LOVE – if someone thanks or compliments you, receive the gesture!
