Even though she couldn't find a muddy puddle to jump into Ginny had a great time chasing sticks on her walk. Ginny's confident she'll be able to find a muddy puddle to jump in tomorrow, and if she can't find one tomorrow she'll just go and dig in the garden instead. Ginny will always find a way to make a mess.; -
You may remember Joey, I posted about him a few days ago, he had been neglected and then left at a shelter. He was part of an investigation due to clear signs of severe neglection from his previous "owners", all he wanted was a home. Here's the good news, the amazing group Leave No Paws Behind (please check them out at www.leavenopawsbehind.org -- they do so much great work) will be picking Joey up tomorrow! REPOST FROM @maximilentine -- "Please, please, can anyone foster this guy?! Save him?! I visited the Carson Shelter in Gardena, CA yesterday- just to kind of greet the dogs I guess. I keep getting pulled back there some how or another. Of all the dogs there, this guy stood out to me the most. He was freezing and shivering, huddled in the corner. It took some coaxing but he finally came to me. His name is Chewy and they believe he is about 2 years old/pitbull. I actually started crying for him, he broke my heart. He got hit by a car and was placed in the shelter as a stray early October. I noticed yesterday a big bulge above his front right paw on his leg - didn't know what it was but now I realize it's from the accident. He has a few bald spots and is limping. I had to call him a few times before he finally got up and limped over to me. His tail was tucked and would not wag. I finally got it to wag a little after cooing to him, leading him to whine. He wants out so bad. I've just discovered on a facebook page, "Saving Carson Shelter Dogs", that he is out of time! I don't know how much time he has. Please, someone save him. I wish I can foster him, but I can't. Tag anyone you know around this area that can foster or take him!!!!" -- If you know of anyone who could adopt/foster Chewy please share his details with them, or if you know of a rescue group who can save him then please share his details with them too. After Ginny runs through the mud she covers everything in muddy paw prints... including me, but it's all totally worth it to see her so happy.; -
Ginny doesn't like to wait for a hug, instead she likes to jump onto the nearest human and demand a hug. Ginny won't let anything get in the way of her hug time.; -
Ginny's in a level 4 treat coma right now. I think the only thing that would wake her up from this treat coma is if she heard another packet of treats being opened.;
