Ginny's had an itchy head all afternoon and it's been driving her crazy, but thanks to her stitches she can't scratch her head until they come out and that's not for another 8 days. So, as her inferior human I'm on head massage/itch duty. I got everywhere around her stitches and it instantly made her relax. I got you Ginny ; -
Ginny's working on tanning the new bald spot on her head now! She did consider barking at a pigeon on her walk but she decided to be kind and just give it some serious stink eye instead. She's definitely getting back to her usual sassy self So proud of her!; -
As a professional snuggler Ginny isn't being lazy sleeping here, she's actually hard at work testing out different snuggling techniques.; -
"I ordered 2 bacontinis human but don't go thinking one's for you, they're both for me. You can sit there and watch me enjoy them." -- Ginny had a great nights sleep and a good breakfast this morning with her meds so we took her for a walk to air her head out a bit. When we stopped here for a drink she decided to beg for everything she could, she's definitely feeling better today ; -
Ginny's busy getting some beauty sleep/head rest right now so this is a flashback to Ginny over a year ago... getting some beauty sleep. She really loves to sleep. I'm sure all the snoozing she does is what keeps her looking so cute! I'm looking forward to her head fur growing back like this again too #fbf;

Looks like Simba's all about the love today, but Ginny's just about the snuglife instead. She didn't sleep well last night but she's definitely making up for that now with a nice long snooze on the sofa next to me Have a great Friday everyone!; -
"Wear that thing? But it doesn't go with my hairstyle human!" -- Ginny's not impressed with her anti stitch itching device the vet gave her, but it beats the cone of shame. She's not been up to much, shock set in and the meds are wearing off so she's been very nervous about every little movement and needing a lot of reassuring/cuddles (I'm more than happy to cuddle this little munchkin for hours though) but I was expecting this all. She can start the rounds of medication her vet prescribed tomorrow morning but until then she's gonna have a lot of cuddles and hopefully calm down enough to sleep well tonight. After a lot of rest and love she'll be back to defending the world's supply of bacon and begging for food in no time! I'll treat her like a little Queen! Thank you again for everything you guys, if we could we'd hug you all See you all tomorrow.; -
She's home! Ginny came round from the sedation roughly 4 hours ago, but she got very shaky and her vet noticed a few puncture wounds behind her ears and at the back of her head so they kept her in for a while to clean those up and make sure she's all mended and a-ok. The biggest wound was stitched and cleaned up, wasn't very big at all really but it went through some muscle so it made her cry a lot. Her vet is incredible, she was in the best hands. She's on a few meds now that have made her so sleepy she can't walk straight (she's loooving being carried everywhere!) and now she's just chilling out on the sofa with my dressing gown and some pillows. She has an awesome donut to wear around her neck (instead of a cone of shame) while her stitches are in and all other cuts are healing. She had a haircut too, so no bed head for Ginny for a while... it is weird seeing her without all that fluffy fur on her head but that doesn't even matter, all that matters is that she's home next to me. Thank you so much everyone for all your kind words and support, you'll never know how much it meant to me, I cannot thank you all enough. We love you guys Ginny is home and now I get to treat her like a princess while she heals.; -
I don't have a photo to post with this so just ignore that old photo. Ginny was attacked by a dog this morning, she's currently in the vets right now being sedated/stitched up. Thankfully I was able to get Ginny away before any serious damage was done, but there's one deep cut on her head which is being stitched up right now. I've got to leave her at the vets for an hour while they treat her but as soon as she wakes up and I can see her and I know more news I'll keep this page updated. This is the longest hour of my life and I won't lie I'm terrified. I miss her so damn much already. Our vet is incredible and she is in the best hands though, Ginny is one tough cookie but please keep her in your thoughts right now. I love my little Ginny so much, as soon as I know she's awake and all stitched up I'll try to update.; -

"Best. Camouflage. Ever. Now human can't find me to take me home for a bath because I just rolled in something that smells like ."; -
There's a very chilled out and snuggly little bunny on my sofa right now. I could try to bribe her off the sofa into her own bed with a carrot, but for some reason I think this bunny likes bacon treats instead...;
