For the past 8 years my daughter has been splitting time between her Dad's home and ours. It has always been tough for all of us but now I am beginning to see how wonderful it is for her to cultivate a strong relationship with her dad. Despite our differences, he is a good dad and loves her dearly. But, the time apart has created a trauma bond between my daughter and I and when we are together, we are joined at the hip. It's been 2 weeks since we left each other in Thailand but I'm finally on a plane to pick her up! yay! Anyone else have a life like this?; -

Acro yoga has helped Dice and I build trust and better communication. But what @theyogimatt & @chelseykorus taught us this past weekend at @iggetaway went above and beyond any tricky transition we have ever learned. They taught us how to communicate through our bodies which was so powerful for me as I always try to over control the situation. I actually got to FEEL my base move me rather than try to help the movement. Releasing control really helped me gain the confidence to trust my partner. So proud of Dice for changing roles and flying more. I'm sure you parents out there can relate when I say that it's hard to find time for yourself with a couple kiddos running around. Now that baby Syd is 2+ and a bit more independent, we've been finding the time to do the things we enjoy again like hanging at the Acro 'Green' in Santa Monica! Day 3 of @iggetaway was so fun and we got to hang out at the beach together and play! @fitqueenirene has been staying with us for @iggetaway and it has been a true pleasure getting to know her. She is a beautiful soul and truly practices and teaches yoga inside and out. ️ u girl! #santamonicagreen #iggetaway #inspirationgeneration; -

I tell everyone that this weekend was a selfish adventure because we just wanted to bring our favorite teachers together and learn from them! But we got so much more than we expected from both the teachers and the attendees.
