A street food that hails from the Edo period. At the time before refrigeration, merchants can be seen serving this delicacy from a pull cart in the market streets or local casinos.
Akami Tuna or red meat Tuna slices are marinated in shoyu , mirin, and sake, served on top of steaming hot Japanese short grain rice topped with dried shredded seaweed.
