@loukgolflg : WHAT SPARKED YOUR INTEREST IN ENGLISH?
I didn't love English at first; I used to hate it, actually. My English was so bad when I was in primary school. I became interested in English when one of my teachers told me that English was a universal language and that it would take me to a bigger world. I guess you can say I used English to help me get out of the small world I lived in. I'm from a very small village in Hat Yai, where being gay was frowned upon. I suffered and I needed to escape. I came to see the language as something that connected me to the bigger world. So I practised hard to be better at English, hoping that one day it would take me to that bigger world like my teacher told me. I kept practising until my English got so much better that it surprised everyone around me. I first began tutoring high school students in English as a part-time job when I was a student at Chula, and I fell in love with teaching English. After graduation, I went to the UK to further my studies and I came back to establish Angkriz. My little school is five years old now.
