Today, we have a very special Happy Beginnings story to share with you. It’s one filled with the glitter of the Hollywood lights and even a red carpet! The story starts off pretty sad, with little Max abandoned and alone. He was found as a stray in a field and then brought to an animal shelter in a part of California where animal homelessness is not uncommon. But what is uncommon is Max’s amazing turn-around. We’re talking a story fit for the big screen. You see, little Max not only found love when he was adopted by Kelly - an advertising executive at Siltanen & Partners, a firm that works with Coldwell Banker. He also found himself starring in a commercial for Coldwell Banker’s newest passion project, Homes for Dogs, which will make its television tonight during the Academy Awards! Yes, that’s right - Max will be starring in a commercial during the Oscars! How’s that for awesome? We’re so happy for Max and Kelly and we can’t wait to see his adorable face on TV! Nate is just TOO cute!! We can’t handle it! How about you? Today’s Five O’Clock Cuteness is Nate, an incredibly cute 1 year old Pekingese / Tibetan Spaniel mix available for adoption in Garfield Heights, Ohio from Canine Lifeline. This boy is simply loaded with personality and smarts. And to top that, he’s a total ham for the camera! Just look at his photos for evidence of his love of posing. Nate gets along well with other dogs but would also do well as an only dog in his new home. He will very happily entertain himself with a toy. Casper is so angelic. How handsome is this boy? Today’s Five O’Clock Cuteness is Casper, a gorgeous long-haired male cat available for adoption in Knoxville, Tennessee from Friends of Rescue - Knoxville, TN. Casper is 12 pounds of pure charm - and fluff! He seems to have never been an inside cat before, but he is sure loving all the comforts of a real home. Now all he needs is a family! You are going to love this spunky little guy! Today’s Five O’Clock Cuteness is Shanghai, an adorable little 1.5 year old Brusself Griffon / Shih Tzu mix available for adoption in Indianapolis, Indiana from Waldo’s Muttley Crew. This funny little pup definitely knows how cute he is and packs a lot of personality into his 10 pound body! Shanghai is confident and fearless and is known to use his powers of cuteness to get what he wants. Did we mention he’s smart?! LOL! Like many terriers, he has boundless enthusiasm and endless charm but he can be outspoken and stubborn as well.
