I’d like to thank each one of you for submitting your wonderful snapshots. They are really impressive. The current theme is ACTION, and the contest is open to all cameras and brands. I’m looking forward to seeing your submissions real soon! This photo is one of my contributions for the #SonyWYV campaign based on the same theme. It was taken during one my best friend’s wedding with my #a5100. Don’t let this photo fool you for I was actually standing quite far away from the happy couple. Thanks to the camera’s digital zoom, however, I was able to capture this intimate yet focused shot of the bride and groom as they were about to cut the wedding cake. Like most of my previous photos, I only relied on the camera’s Intelligent Auto mode and kit lens. The rest I left it to Sony’s never-let-us-down image processing cleverness. With the camera’s fast AF features, even the floating soap bubbles appeared clear and vivid. Moreover, the foreground, which is the main story of the photo, is crisp while the background is slightly defocused which helps to emphasize the couple’s magical moment all the more.
