@nicolenicole23 : Absolutely heartbreaking. Flight MH370 disappeared in March. Flight MH17 was shot down over in July. AirAsia Flight #QZ8501 is still missing. 3 planes in 1 year. Pings, radars, high frequency radios and ultrasonic signals from black boxes seem outdated and not enough to locate a missing plane. I read that ADS-B, a gps locator, is expected to replace radar as the primary surveillance method for air traffic control. Another system, ACARS which allows computers aboard the plane to talk to computers on the ground will provide information on the "health" of the plane throughout the whole flight. Let's start using these systems! #prayforQZ8501
