@alf_and_dips : I was nominated by a few people to do #behindthesphynx so here goes! 1. I am Scottish and only moved to California a few years ago. Most people are surprised by the accent. 2. Chris & I are both Software Engineers but in my spare time I like to paint pet portraits. 3. I have a guilty pleasure for soppy movies and books that make you cry. 4. I can't drive. I sat my test for the first time 2 weeks ago and failed. Re sitting next month 5. Before I was a software engineer, I was a care nurse at a dementia nursing home. I was kicked a lot and had to wipe far too many old people butts.
