@wichudapindum : Dear people around the world and Thais, who love democracy.Please allow me to describe what is in the protesters’ mind in my own words. We are not stupid like many people think. However, we choose to utilize the current situation for our country future’s sake. For you who were born in the developed countries, your election might be enough for the democracy,because your ancestors fought for you. We are glad for you. On the other hand, for the third world or developing countries like us, that is not enough, as democracy for politicians is just only using the majority’s voice for their own benefits. For example, when a policy or an act is legislated,all Member of Parliament (MP) will agree with it and all opposition MPs will disagree with it. Are these the representatives of people? They do not even have to think about the result if it is going to be good or not good for the country.They just vote for their party and vote against the opposition. This is the tradition of democracy in Thailand. We should see the parliament which is the representative of the majority of Thai people disagree with wrong things. But, we have never seen this in Thailand. If it happens, it would be voting for salary increment for MPs. So, we can see all MPs raise their hands in the parliament. And the main reason is only all MPs would like to be in the cabinet, as the election of cabinet ministers who are going to use the government budget comes from MPs quota not from qualified MPs in the particular field. So it's easy to corrupt for government because they have Member of Parliament to vote what they want for their advantage.
