when I was young, I always thought of adults as watchers.
they don't play catch, they don't drink imaginary tea, they don't cover themselves up in sand and pretend to be mermaids. they just sat there, watching us.
now, when I actually am one of these adult things, when I walk pass a wonderful moment like this, all I could wish for is to turn back time.
and as that happy thought emerges, another realization seeps through.. I am the watcher now. no one can turn back time.
