Every year, we mark the International Women’s Day on March 8 by explaining why we celebrate it. This year, all of us should think of how, not only why. For me, the answer is simple: I will celebrate this day by standing up for women’s rights and not tolerating any form of violence or discrimination against women. That’s the pledge I made last year when I joined the HeForShe campaign. And it’s the promise I’ll keep because I believe in gender equality.
