Toby is a senior #Sheltie (Shetland Sheepdog) who has found himself all on his own in his senior years, when he needs support the most. He’s a sweet and gentle boy who is well-mannered and house trained. You’ll rarely hear him bark, as he just enjoys a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Toby has vision issues, so he will occasionally bump into objects but he generally does just fine. Toby is just a loving little guy who is looking to meet someone with whom he can live out his golden years. He’s got a lot of love left to give, but just needs someone to give it to! Daisy is proof that a dog that appears shy and fearful in the shelter environment, can blossom when just given a chance to prove it! Today’s Five O’Clock is the beautiful and happy Miss Daisy, a #Hound / #Mastiff mix available for adoption in #Orlando #Florida from Orlando Bully Rescue. This goofy gal was so scared at the shelter, that she literally couldn’t move and had to be physically carried out by her rescuers. And you know what? In mere days, her true personality started to shine. She’s as sweet as can be and would make an excellent family dog who will keep everyone entertained with her silliness and charm. She loves to play with toys, is skilled in basic obedience and manners, and gets along well with all kinds of animals (including pigs!). We <3 this pretty girl. Today’s Five O’Clock Cuteness is Bubbles, a beautiful Flemish Giant mix available for adoption in Des Moines Iowa from Animal Rescue League of Iowa. She’s a lovely little lady who enjoys gentle petting and her daily dose of healthy fruits and veggies! Her favorites are carrots, celery, spinach, and apples. Bubbles is big girl so she’ll need a roomy enclosure and would ideally have an exercise pen attached. She’s good with responsible children, well-mannered cats, and is litter-trained. What an innocent baby face on this boy! Isn’t he sooo cute?! Today’s Five O’Clock Cuteness is Jack Frost, an adorable 1 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix available for adoption in Fairport New York from Lollypop Farm the Humane Society of Greater Rochester. Jack got his name because he has such beautiful snow-white fur but, as winter set in, it became clear that he could have been named for his love of playing in the frosty snow! He really enjoys running around and playing in the snowy yard as he works on mastering his ball tossing skills. He’s a sticky little guy, but he loves to play with the big boys and would be best in a home with older children as he is quite strong. He’s learning how to walk on leash and it’s clear this is a new skill for him, as he is very unsure of himself when attached to a lead. He will walk a little bit with some coaxing, but is quick to sit down and wait. With a little practice with a loving adopter, he will surely master this skill!
