After two weeks in Bangkok taking care of mom without a maid, cooking and cleaning, washing and dusting, and on top of that shopping for food and coming back to the house to teach everyday, finally I get a mini-break. I got a job leading a yoga class ironically in Samui, the place I first practice yoga 11 years ago. Feel like a mini homecoming. My 70-year-old turning toddler Mom has the sweetest tooth. Requesting sweets every day if possible. It's so strange to see because when she was living in the U.S. for 40-plus years, I've never seen her eat fruitcake, asked for blueberry cheese cake or ice cream. My favorite pillow😴 I'm a side sleeper because of my scoliosis. I've spent a small fortune trying to find the perfect pillow; rubber, memory foam, even Japanese beans. What I end up with was a $20 natural fiber square made in a small village by 70-year-old hill tribe. My neck and shoulder isn't sore because it's amazing firm and comfortable.
