Today’s Five O’Clock Cuteness is Max, a young #Labrador #Retriever / #Shepherd mix available for adoption in #Portland #Maine from Dogs on Borrowed Time. Max is being fostered in Tennessee, but can be transported up north for adoption. Max’s mom found herself at a shelter, pregnant with Max and his siblings. Lucky for them, mom was pulled from the shelter and brought into rescue just before giving birth to the litter. Max is a big old goofball who is a ton of fun to be around. He loves (like, loves!) a good game of tug-o-war and would be a great addition to an active family with kids to play with. Redford’s foster mom says he’s one of the smartest and most affectionate dogs she’s ever known. He has excelled in obedience with a perfect mastery of the sit, stay, and down commands.
