This morning, the #DSWT/KWS Mobile Veterinary Team was able to save the life of one of #Tsavo's largest tuskers.
The #TsavoTrust spotted the injured elephant from the air yesterday. They alerted the teams, who sprung into action. Led by KWS vet Dr. Poghon, they darted the bull and removed the offending arrow from his body. In no time, he ambled off across the plains with a good prognosis for a full recovery. Another day, another elephant saved from poachers.
