Rune has a sad story and really needs our help to SHARE her and give her life a great turnaround. Rune was originally found as a stray in July 2014. Things were looking up for her when she was adopted, but then her adopter lost her home. Rune ended up back at the shelter. She’s a very good girl who is obedient and well-mannered. She has a little separation anxiety - likely because she has never had the chance to fully get settled in anywhere. With a little love and patience, this beauty will relax and worry less. Saving a shelter pet is a beautiful thing on so many levels. When you adopt a pet from your local shelter, you are doing an amazing thing. You are literally saving a life. You are giving that wonderful little creature the chance to have the happiness and love that they not only need, but deserve. People sometimes think that shelter pets are “damaged” or plagued by behavioral or other issues and that is simply NOT true. The majority of shelter pets are there through no fault of their own.
